On Friday,  November 29,  Station 18 was dispatched for a two vehicle crash involving  a car and tractor trailer with reports of one vehicle over the embankment. On the response were R-18, 18-9, and E-18.  While enroute command was updated that there were no vehicles over the embankment, no entrapment, and one minor injury.

Chief 18-1 (T.Turner) arrived on scene reporting one passenger car with heavy damage and a tractor trailer approx 100 yards down the road with no apparent damage. Initial reports from PSP pointed towards cargo falling from the tractor trailer and striking the vehicle.  Fortunately the driver of the passenger car was alone and sustained only minor injuries.  18 apparatus remained on scene with PSP and 18-9 transported one victim.
