Cabin fire a total loss

On April 9,  Station 18 was dispatched to a working house fire at approx 1700hrs.  On the box was L-18, R-18, T-18, 18-9, E-24, T-24, and Harford for a full response.
 

Upon arrival Lt. 18-D (Belcher) reported a small cabin fully involved partially on the ground with a vehicle also fully involved, no other exposers. 

Chief 18-1 (Price) assumed command upon arrival and reported a small cabin fully involved
75 percent on the ground. Due to the conditions of the area, L-18 extended a 3" leader into a wye to two 1 3/4" attack lines for overhaul. 

A drafting operation was set up in a near by stream to re-fill tankers.  The cabin was approximately 400' from the roadway with no access.
